Mason Welborn finished last night's race on his side last night placing 18th. A final lap crash with stephen black got Welborn caught up in the crash resulting in welborn skidding on his side down the track.

K love will be sponsoring Welborn tonight as he makes a run to get into the Daytona 500K on February 21st. Welborn will be starting 7th in Duel #2 tonight.

Mason Welborn's Daytona 500k has come to a end Early. Welborn has finished finished an upsetting 36th tonight, Second to last after a broken Axle. "We have honestly had the worst luck ever" Reports Welborn. Welborn will attempt Pocono on April 4th, 2013.

BREAKING NEWS! Alpinestars has resigned from Welborn's sponsor for 2013 in the proline cup series. Head of Alpinestars, Sante Mazzarolo.. Has reported - "Welborn just hasn't done great in the proline series and we feel it is best to resign as sponsor of the 05 in the cup series". Alpinestars will still be the sponsor of the #5 of Brandon Lambert and Will still be run on Welborn's dash cars. K-love will now be the primary sponsor of the 05 in the Proline cup series.
