Driver of the 05 alpinestars chevy, Mason Welborn.. Has finished 17th after a blown engine with 8 to go at daytona for the season opener. Welborn comments, "It's a shame that our crew can't build proper engines. I am just thankfull to have a ride and a chance to compete in the series. We are not sure if we will have the money to compete for the later races of the season now that one of our $50,000 engines are gone." Welborn Looks to redeem himself next week at Little Rock Speedway.
