| I can't say I blame Newman. Pretty much 2 wrecks and no caution? Eh. | |

| Junior got 4th, I'll be pretty happy about it with the way Talladega races are. Johnson can be thanked by Junior for that one. | |

Still a helluva lot of season left to run. But again, this is looking like another 2004 type year. He won 6 races that year. If he can repeat that kind of success with all the top 5s, 10s and stay out of trouble come chase time, he very easily could. Of course, that's all easier said than done. But at this moment, feels great to be a Jr. fan, and I'm quite looking forward to Richmond.

| Carl almost made that a 4 wide finish.
Easily the 2nd best finish in NASCAR history. Nothing will ever top Darlington though.

| Dave Blaney, nuff said! Another thrilling race at Talladega, but no big pack like both races last year, that was disappointing... But a 3 wide race for the win that almost was a 4 wide finish for the win? AWESOME! Although, some beatin' and bangin' would've been nice Two buzzkill winners, but who cares? Best weekend for Talladega in a while! | |

| I'm hoping when they get new cars in 2013 its gonna be like early 2000s or early 90s, I liked how it took some skill to get through and win. And in early 2000 you still had that along with a decent pack. Either way though we'll see. But for the moment at least this is exciting since more and more drivers are learning it and getting better at it. But one series we know cannot even attempt two car slingshots is trucks | |

| The 2x2 pack racing is good and all, but I just don't like the fact that one driver themselves can't control your own destiny, I find it fun to watch, but it's not near as exciting as the early 2000's, or even in 2010, I know there's more lead changes than ever with this, but I still liked the older style of last year or early 2000's better. | |

| I don't think it's going to make a difference, the "new" COT. If they made the cars look exactly like they did in pre 2008, the two car draft would still work. Simply because the drivers know how to do it. They would make it work. Proof of concept is in the ARCA race. They tried it and it worked to perfection.
Hate to say it, but this style of racing is probably here to stay. It's just the evolution of superspeedway racing really. It's like when the draft was first discovered. Few people knew why it worked, or how it worked. All they knew was that it did work. Drivers discovered that one car pushing another around the entire track was faster than an entire pack of cars drafting. It's the fastest way around the track and now everybody is pretty much forced to do it, lest you get lapped. And as long as at least one pair can do it, many others will have to do it, just to be competetive.
