Well, I guess it could be a combination of the two

41 car was fine, it broke last week and he overdrove practice and wrecked then underdrove Q. The 75 is not a road course car, wasn't set up to race one either. It was better this week but the trans, rear end, etc wasn't road race stuff.

I think they should've chosen Chris Cook over Drissi tbh, I know Drissi doesn't have experience with these cars, but damn...

Drissi had the money, not Cook. The 75 was brought to be Drissi's locked-in backup car, which turned out to make Rick look pretty genius lol.

Well yeah, but not setting it up for a road course was pretty ingenious, I know it was a back up, but Chris Cook is a good enough driver to at least qualify in without trying to overdrive the car through the walls and what not.

Stenhouse's motor started to blow up right at the end and Bayne got some stupid penalty because he missed the last turn and had to cut it, even though he lost like 7 spots in the process.

The 75 was "set up" to road race, but not outfitted with the stuff to do it other than brakes, mainly because: a) They couldn't afford it b) It's going back to an oval car right afterwards. If the 41 would've made it, Cook would've parked because Drissi's $ didn't cover running both.

Drissi sucks ass in SCCA World Challenge in the 3 times they've been at Miller Motorsports Park, not surprising that he is awful in NASCAR.

If they lose this race from the schedule, that will be a big blow to the Nationwide Series, seems like Montreal is one of the biggest races of the year for a lot of guys, and how they are losing money for the weekend is beyond me considering they got more people to show up to qualifying on Friday then both days at Nashville. I'd love to know what Nationwide Races get 70,000 people this year besides Montreal, I bet I couldn't name any past Daytona in February.

Montreal has hosted some of the best races for the Nationwide Series in the last 4 years, they have had great races, sure some wreckfests, but good racing, also.

It's like a wildcard race, like Talladega or Daytona, just without the excessive lead changes. It seems like anyone can win it considering the mistakes by some people and the double file restarts with 2 to go...

If they decide to not race their, I'll be really sad, honestly.

They will probably just go to Mosport, which is a solid track, but parts of it won't have the great type of racing that Montreal does because of some of the straightaways just aren't conducive to bumping as much.

Wonder if Mosport would be up for a Truck/Nationwide weekend... Might be cool...

I think the only way to save Montreal would be to get Cup a date there, but I doubt that will happen.
