Power Rankings after Talladega:1. Robson stays #1 yet again, even after his seasons worst finish at Talladega. Robson qualified and finished 6th in the Mountain Dew 200. He still holds a 22 point lead in the Chase and hopes to extend the lead in Road America.
2. Poulin is again 2nd after a solid 5th place finish in Dega. Poulin gain 6 points on Robson. Jake won the first road course race of the season in Watkins Glen and looks to be a favorite on Thursday as well.
3. Nick Baker jumps up to 3rd this week after his huge win in Talladega. It was Bakers first Proline series win in over a year. He jumps up to 3rd in points as well. Baker isn't known to be a huge contender on road courses but with a solid finish out of Road America he could be in this thing.
4. Adam Codol jumped up 3 spots in the Chase points to 4th and that is where it lands him this week in the ranks. Codol had a strong run in Talladega and finished 2nd by a fender. He is 34 points out of the points lead so he will need a huge week to get back in contention for the title.
5. The Canucker finished 10th in Talladega after a hard crash with eventual winner Nick Baker. Taylor started on the pole and led 13 total laps. He had by far the fastest car during the race. However with a Road Course coming up Shawn has virtually nothing to lose this week. Expect him to be fast in Road America.
6. Chris Wetz has been on a bit of a slope as of late.. He is pretty much out of Title contention, so like Taylor he has nothing to lose. Wetz is always fast on RC's and if he can hold it together he will be a threat.
7. Brian Wallace got 4th in Talladega for only his 2nd top 5 finish of the season. Brian is having more of a Steven Wallace type season this year but lately has turned it around. Brian is always respectable on the road courses so he may come out of Wisconsin with another top 5 finish.
8. Chin makes his way back into the rankings after an 8th place finish in Dega. He was not on the Darlington Power Rankings but after Brandon Lambert and Auz Grams both missed the race in Talladega he moves into the rankings for the 2nd time. We'll see if he shows up to Road America on Thursday!
9. Dylan 'Livenguuud' finally makes his first appearance in the top 10 power rankings this week. After a career best 3rd place finish in Talladega. He led 3 laps in the race and was a fixture in the top 5. However Road Courses are not Dylans strong suit so Road America might be an up hill battle this week.. And Mr. Livengood, may not be liven so good afterwords.
10. Because troll.
