Power Rankings after Charlotte:1. Jordan Robson won his 9th Proline race of the season and second consecutive win in the series at Charlotte. Heading in to what many say is Robsons best track (Martinsville) Robson is going for his 10th win in the series. Nobody has ever had double digit wins in Solstice History.
2. With his 3rd straight top 5 finish Adam Codol moves into 2nd this week in the rankings. This marks the first time anyone other than Jordan Robson or Jake Poulin have been 1-2 in the Power Rankings. Codol finished two spots behind Robson in Charlotte and is 23 points out of the lead with 2 races to go.
3. Jake Poulin finished 6th in Charlotte but with Robson and Codol finishing ahead of him he lost a lot of ground coming out of Charlotte. The Lobstah is currently 3rd in points 29 out of the lead.
4. 'Intimibaker' finished 8th in Charlotte. However having one of the fastest cars during the race. Baker ran the first 3rd of the race inside the top 3. But after trouble in the pits he would fall to the back of the field. However after a late race crash he was able to finish inside the top 10. Baker is tied with the 2nd most top 10's this season with 13 and is still 4th in points.
5. Chad Mikosz makes his first appearance in the Solstice Power Rankings after his 2nd place finish in Charlotte. Mikosz struggled all through practice up until fellow Chevy racer and points leader Jordan Robson sent his setup. Chad was among the fastest during the event and got his best finish of the Proline season.
6. Brandon Lambert was a top 5 car in Charlotte. However after a few late race incidents he would wind up finishing 7th. He is currently 5th in points and 60 points out. Needless to say he is out of the hunt for the Proline Championship.
7. Ellery makes his 3rd appearance on the Power Rankings. He finished 5th last week. Ellery now has 3 top 5's in 4 of his Proline races.
8. Shawn the "Canuck" Taylor has had a few rough weeks in the Proline series.. Taylor was the fastest dodge in Charlotte but could not cap off the great run. After an incident off turn 4 racing for 2nd Taylors run was ruined. He finished 12th in Charlotte and is now 6th in points and out of it. However he is still gonna go for broke in the final two races. Expect him to be a contender in Martinsville.
9. Another driver to finally make his debut on the Power Rankings is the Solstice Racing team owner Caleb Paul. Paul made his return to Proline last week and what a return it was.. He came home with a 4th place finish and is expected to run Martinsville.
10. Becuz' top 10 in points.
Will update these again tomorrow after Martinsville.
