Speed Channel has confirmed they will show 4 of the lower NASCAR races live this year. The East race from Richmond, the Denny Hamlin short track challenge, the Whelen Modified race from Bristol, and the K&N West race at Phoenix to end the season.

ASA has announced their 2nd South African race. The Free State 500, at Phakisa Speedway. It will be November 25th..
Here is the finish of the first race..I like the old school look of the track.

Jennifer Jo Cobb and Chris Lafferty shared exactly 1 set of tires for CWTS practice today. Jen's LR brake was partially locked up and she ended up cording the LR tire. Her fastest lap was with 107 laps on her tires. God, I hope she plans on buying more tires for the race. Lafferty only got 10 laps of practice and there is no way in fuck he is getting in.
On the other hand, Natalie Sather did a very good job in ther #50 MAKE Motorsports Chevy. May not be close enough, but she did a good job getting laps in and ran some pretty competetive times considering her lower-level team and lack of experience.

Sprint Cup series car owner Joe Falk said on Monday that he expects Elliott Sadler, Austin Dillon and C.E. Falk to be among those who will drive the #33 Chevy for his team in upcoming races. Joe Falk is purchasing the #33 team from legendary Cup owner Richard Childress. Falk said that Hermie Sadler, who drove to a 31st-place finish in the team's first race on Sunday at Martinsville, also figures to drive some more races. Falk added that he is not ready yet to announce who will drive the Cup car on April 14 in Texas, but that Emporia native Sadler is a possibility. He said his team will be housed in the same Mooresville, N.C., garage as his Camping World Truck Series team. While Falk partners with Hillman Racing in the trucks series, his Cup team will be independent. "We're doing this as a development deal with Richard Childress Racing," Falk said. So Childress' grandson, Dillon - who won two Camping World Truck races last year and has three Nationwide Series top-fives in five starts this season - will get some Cup starts for Falk. And Falk's nephew C.E., who tied a Langley Speedway track record with his third consecutive Late Model title in 2011, should get a start.

The American Le Mans Series has taken a huge blow to the momentum they had going. After jumping from 0 LMP2 cars to 4 this year, there is a problem.
The assets of Scott Tucker have been frozen by the government, as he is now under investigation of a payday loan fraud. That means that both Level 5 Lola's cannot race. Black Swan also has a lease deal with Level 5, so they may be out too for awhile.

Kinda cool to see C.E. Falk get a Cup ride, but I don't think it's a good idea. Hopefully this won't be a deal where he runs a handful of races and then immediately jumps to the Cup series next season full-time.
Austin Dillon isn't much of a shock along with Elliott Sadler. Wouldn't be shocked to see ole Boris Said in it for the roadies.

RWR and Timmy Hill are apparently going back to the Nationwide Series and putting their Cup Series team on hold for now. Not sure what Larry Gunselman plans here on out.

Move a Rookie up to the Cup Series, give him 4 races, then move him back down to the Nationwide Series where he will now have to race in because you didn't run his N'wide Car. GENIUS!
