You don't know half the story. Moving him back down had nothing to do with Timmy, it had to deal with Larry Gunselman tearing their team apart.

Found a picture of the new aero package for IndyCar that they are running on the ovals; they were testing it today at Indy. So far they have reached 219 mph in a single car run.

Falk Chases Virginia Trifecta This Weekend at Langley
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — C.E. Falk opens his quest for a fourth consecutive NASCAR Late Model Stock Car track championship at Langley Speedway in Hampton, Va., Sat., April 7. Langley’s 62nd season opener is one of the highlights of a busy Easter weekend for NASCAR Whelen All-American Series tracks.
Falk is shooting for a track opening trifecta this weekend. He’s already won the 300-lap season opener at South Boston (Va.) Speedway March 10 and the 150 lap-opener at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Va., March 31. He’ll try to continue his Virginia track opening hot streak in Saturday’s 100-lap feature at Langley.
“I race against some great champions at Langley and we have a tough field every week,” Falk said. “They’re the most professional drivers I race against. These guys are smart.”
The track itself is also a challenge, Falk said.
“Langley Speedway is the kind of a track you have to respect,” Falk said. “If not, she’ll bite you.”
Langley’s tricky .396-mile asphalt surface is known for its variable characteristics based on weather conditions.
“It’s an ever-changing creature,” Falk said of the track surface. “You have to fine tune your set-up every week.”
Falk, 24, of Virginia Beach, Va., has been in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national championship equation for three years. His place in the final national standings has improved from sixth to fifth to fourth 2009-11.
“I’m on a mission to do better every year and a mission to win the next race,” Falk said. “I’m always trying to improve and I feel like I have more tools than ever this year.”
While Falk is using the year-old Toyota Camry Creech chassis at Langley again this year, some key ingredients were added. Veteran wrench Sammy Houston is the team’s new crew chief. A new Creech-built car debuted in the South Boston and Motor Mile events. The car was built specifically for larger tracks.
In 2011, Falk had 11 wins, 20 top-fives and 22 top-10s in 23 starts. In addition to placing fourth in the nation in 2011, he placed third in NASCAR’s state standings behind Philip Morris and Lee Pulliam. Neither driver has competed in a NASCAR point race so far this year.
Falk, whose uncle Joe was the 1976 Langley Speedway track champion, drives for E.F. Motorsports, a team owned by his parents, Steve and Susan Falk. The driver’s brother Wesley is a crewman as are Troy Turnage, Jeremy Jordan, Cody Jones and Randy Armstrong. Primary sponsor Hampton Roads Toyota Dealers is joined by Creech Motorsports Fabrication and Clark’s Automotive Engines.

Quote :
JR Motorsports swaps crew chiefs: JR Motorsports has implemented a crew chief swap to its #88 and #5 Nationwide Series teams. Crew chief Bruce Cook has taken over responsibilities for the #88 Chevys driven by Cole Whitt. Until now Cook has spearheaded the organization's third team a part-time entry primarily driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. while lending assistance to the company's two full-schedule teams. That role will now fall to Tony Eury Sr., who takes charge of the #5 team while continuing his role as JR Motorsports' competition director. Tony Eury Jr.'s role as crew chief for Danica Patrick and the #7 GoDaddy.com team remains unchanged. The #5 car will race at Texas next weekend with Earnhardt Jr. and sponsor Degree Men. The crew chief change reunites Earnhardt Jr. with Eury Sr. The pair won 15 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races between 2000 and 2004 as well as Nationwide Series championships in 1998 and 1999.(JR Motorsports)(4-3-2012)

I'd rather have Pops with Whitt, but Cook is a pretty good CC, too. Just might work out for them.

Lotus no longer financially supports the Lotus F1 team, apparently due to money issues. Lotus is allowing Lotus F1 to continue to be called Lotus though, unlike what they did with Team Lotus last year.
