Always good to see tracks "reopen" even if it's only been a little while since it "closed"

The GX cars are running 1:56's at Daytona. Which puts them about 7 seconds off the normal GT cars, and right at the pace of the slowest GT cars.

Also, I think the Sprint Unlimited Shootout would sound better. And to make it unlimited, why not unlimited Green White Checkered attempts?

Tha's what I said on RuRa, still what I think now. Smile

AP/ESPN wrote:
CINCINNATI -- A man who told investors and Cincinnati leaders he could bring a Grand Prix auto race to the city has pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering.

Authorities say financial adviser Curtis Boggs fled Cincinnati months ago after it became apparent there would be no race. The FBI arrested him last October, when authorities say he tried to re-enter the United States from Mexico.

The U.S. attorney's office said Thursday that Boggs solicited investments in a company called Cincinnati Grand Prix and admits obtaining more than $350,000.

Authorities say he used some of the money to buy a new luxury automobile and make mortgage and property tax payments.

Authorities say the 54-year-old's plea agreement calls for a prison sentence of just over two years, restitution and forfeiting assets from crimes.

I think Ross could show some strength on the short tracks and places like Iowa and Phoenix, not sure how he does on the big ovals though, but BKR equipment (as a RAM at least) wasn't extremely impressive, and PK's move to RHR kinda proved that.

Ross's run in the truck at LOR was awesome, though. Too bad NASCAR shat on the track for whatever reason... :/

Ross Chastain got top 10 finishes for SS-Greenlight. With BK Racing, an actual pit crew, and actual tires, he'll be awesome.

Yea, i missed LOR too. I heard a rumor that they couldn't afford the race there or something. Sucks that ARCA isn't racing their next year. At least NASCAR finally got that date slot replaced with Eldora

PASS/Facebook wrote:
Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced today that both the 2013 PASS South Super Late Model and PASS Pro Late Model schedules are now complete with the addition of a date at Orange County Speedway. The nation’s top short track stars will race at Orange County Speedway near Rougemont, NC on October 19 as part of the 8th Annual Orange Blossom Special. The date joins an impressive schedule of events previously announced for the PASS South Super Late Models and PASS Pro Late Models. Excluding Hickory Motor Speedway, more PASS South races have been held at Orange County Speedway than any other facility in the Southeast. The 8th Annual Orange Blossom Special marks the first time, however, that PASS has raced in the Fall at the high-banked 3/8 mile oval.
The PASS North Super Late Model schedule is also nearing completion and negotiations are currently underway to possibly add an additional race.
For more information on the previously announced races for 2013, please go to ProAllStarsSeries.com.

I hear ya there! I do like it when they have live coverage of the race on their Youtube channel instead of us going on a scavenger hunt trying to find a good stream of it!

Btw definitely looking forward to seeing how Ross does in better equipment! If he can bring a small team to a third place finish at a tough track like Bristol, this could very well be the opportunity he gets to really shine.
